I got my bachelor's degree in biology at China Agricultural University in 2008 and then went to Michigan State University for Ph.D. study. After getting my doctoral degree in 2014, I stayed at Michigan State University for 3 years of postdoc and joined Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Shanghai, to start my own group in 2017. My lab is also affiliated to the joint program of CAS-John Innes Centre, Centre of Excellence for Plant and Microbial Sciences (CEPAMS). My group are interested in understanding the molecular interplay between plant immunity and pathogen virulence strategies as well as phyllosphere microbiota.
