When and where will the event take place?
The 13th biennial meeting will take place simultaneously in Las Vegas, USA and Hangzhou, China from Dec 19-22, 2022. Keynote speeches and society lectures will be presented in-person at either meeting site and viewed virtually in real-time at the other one. Due to timezone differences, each site will also arrange it's own local sessions.

What do I need to show at the event upon check-in?
Please present your green Public Health Code and valid PCR test within 48 hours (PCR covid testing 核酸 will be available at the venue). We will provide all registered participants and attendees with the latest COVID-19 policies and updates closer to the event date.
What is CBIS?
CBIS is the Chinese Biological Investigators Society. Its mission is to promote advancements in life sciences by providing Chinese and their peers of other nationalities with a platform of professional interactions and collaborations. Which language will the event be held in?
English. All sessions, talks and materials held in Hangzhou and Las Vegas will be hosted and presented in English.
Do I have to attend all 3 days of sessions?
We strongly suggest you to attend all 3 days of sessions to maximize your experience.
Is travel and acommodation provided?
No. You will required to fund your own travel and accommodation expenses. The Hangzhou site event will be held at the Westlake University Conference Center in the Wanxin Hotel - directly adjacent to Westlake University Yungu Campus. For venue details and

Are food and refreshments provided at the event?
Yes. Refreshments and meals allocated on the
event schedule will be provided and covered by the registration fees. However, food and refreshments outside of the event venue or outside of allocated schedule times will not be covered.
What are the latest COVID-19 restrictions and requirements in Hangzhou?
We will provide all registered participants and attendees with the latest COVID-19 policies and requirements closer to the event date.
