BioGRAPHY

I received my medical training at Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, where I also earned a PhD degree in 2010, studying the role of reactive oxygen species during tumor development. From 2008 to 2011, I continued my research in University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), first as an exchange PhD student and then a post-doctoral fellow, studying transcriptional regulation of eye-specific genes by CTCF-mediated chromatin organization. I began my editorial career as a Scientific Editor at Cell Research in 2012 and joined Nature Cell Biology in 2017. I moved to Nature in June 2022 and currently handle papers related to epigenetics, chromatin, transcription and signal transduction.
